i heard they laid off all of histology in livonia mi. and i heard that the day lab there is the next to go because they have wellpoint that they bought and it is only 30 miles away doing the same lab work as the livonia lab.

LabCorp is ALWAYS about layoffs. On top of that, they are deceitful, dishonest, disloyal and a whole bunch of other of words that begin with the letter "D." They make big promises to employees who are getting the boot, and then never deliver. Lord knows there are plenty of former employees in the unemployment line who can attest to that. Oh, and they really LOVE to get rid of people during the holidays. Nothing says "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" quite like a pink slip from LCA. The perfect gift for the those who thought that they had everything. These low-life pricks will get what they deserve someday... I won't be there to witness it, but they will receive their well-deserved payback, in spades. When they get their payback, I hope that it comes without lubrication. Happy Holidays to all of the douchebags in Burlington, and their crappy cronies throughout all of the divisions who strive everyday to kiss some a** and suck up just a little bit more, so that they don't find their name on a pink slip. What a way to run a corporation!
