Sad just very sad

i have been here for about 2 years and joined because I really believed in the idea of a generics co disrupting brands . Now it’s 2019 and everything has turned to shit and it makes me so sad as there was so much potential but it’s all just been so terribly managed. I am now of the view I have no option but to leave so am putting all my energy into this. I honestly don’t see a future anymore for sun brands which is a shame. I never post I here but given the shit show feel I have to

It's very possibly within the next 12 months that Sun could pull out of the branded market all together. Maybe just try to sell their portfolio and lick their wounds, because this clearly is a monumental failure in every aspect.

Doubt it. Company is going strong and making changes will make it stronger.

It’s very clear that the sun message board consists of trolls and the ophthalmic’s team (not everyone). Ophthalmics are whiny kids that want everyone else to do everything for them. They are the member of a team project that doesn’t pull their weight. They represent that kid in the classroom that won’t shut up and then everyone gets in trouble.

This is an opportunity for an eastern company to break into the imperialist held US market.

Imperialist? You nub-skull.

Most of the companies operating in the US are foreign companies. Glaxo, AZ, even Allergan now. Pfizer was almost a foreign company. Purdue, BMS, Mylan, J&J and Lilly are a minority. Throw in Endo, Takeda, Astellas, SUN, Dr Reddy, Otsuka all are foreign. BL (formerly Valiant) is Canadian. Your imperialist thought is loony.

OP here. It misses the point to say Sun should be able to get into the US market. It is already here in a big way in generics. My point was we wanted it to succeed with the brands but it’s just sad it’s failing. Time to leave and just chalk it up to experience. Putting name out there to find a new job asap
