One would think that after 37 years, you would have been ranked as S2. How is it that you never got "PIP'd"? Be sure to make it known that you want to work your way to S2 this year...otherwise, you could get "PIP'd" and miss out on severance. Just can't trust "Mother".

BTW, there's also generic Clarinex this year, as well as generic Singulair in 2012 (another $5 billion loss.) Also, the recent voraxpaxar issues didn't help (it killed the SP pipeline). All indicators are pointing south.
 












wow you guys are numbers now? really? no titles? I can remember being promoted to senior and exec. and getting a nice letter from management a plaque and a ring. what's an s1 ring look like?

You must be maybe 60 or more. Wonder if the S1 is by plan, gearing you down for retirement. Count yourself among the lucky who will be getting such payoff at send off. Wow,,wish it was me. Newbees with just a handful of years cant imagine it and will never see it.

All the generics will spell departure for all but the chosen. Question is who is really chosen? Tops at BS, AKing, managers buds....Pipeline or not, they stay with ease.

Non existent. We are all "the same" and equal. We even get to share our objective and work as a team. Oh, and we get promoted if our manager likes us best. WTF has happened to this company?

WTF has happened to this company? The same that has happened to our country. All going down the drain. Just like our president doesn't give a hoot about the Constitution, Merck no longer gives a hoot about any long-standing, time-honored practices involving employee management/development. It's become a free-for-all.

I hear that Allegra OTC is already here. What what the geniuses are doing now! We let Singulair fall by the wayside while we put our resources into the third Combo LABA/Steroid because we will never use the "low price" strategy for the third used by the rest of pharma. Singulair feel while good old number 3 reached a small percent of objective. Now the reps are going top 30 only for #3 and totally ignoring a multi-billion dollar product to beg for a few #3 scripts. Sad, very, sad, when is this lame company going to bite the dust?
