Rules of Engagement

Does US Labs/Lab Corp need a refresher course in what the rules of engagement are? Going into Genzyme accounts is a no-no. Go compete with the likes of Genoptix, Genpath, Clarient, Caris. It may seem easy to "convert" Genzyme business to US Labs as a bait and switch approach to the client. News flash, routing it to your lab isn't "growing" the company's top line.

US Lab/Lab Corp Reps SHOULD NOT be commissioned on any Genzyme converted business!

It is not going to matter. We will probably get paid a set amount for first quarter commission. All of us. Remember we will be USLab + GG. For all you know, that account will be going to the USLab rep and again it will not matter.

So did you know that they have a flow kit now that says US LABS in one corner and Dianon in the other? I hear that they even have reps with multiple business cards. I wonder when they add Genzyme to the box. Oh and I believe that Genzyme and Labcorp are slowly loosing insurance contracts.

USL reps have been instructed by mid level mgmt to go get your business. Welcome to the world of backstabbing and screwing your coworker. Top line growth is never looked at, its only your territory that matters. Labcorp will RIF folks in Oct to make their number, dont worry about that. Watch your own territory and dont believe anything that comes from the other side of the isle.

Amen wake up as you are now owned by Labcorp !!!!! Get ready !!!! The rules will change drastically so either get on board or leave they will not care . Watch your back !!!

Should make for an interesting National Sales Meeting. We are off to a great start.

Not all of us will be invited, thats why we dont have tickets yet. It's all lip service right now. Neither company does that well against clarient or Genoptix, and caris has no business to go after (at least here). All we have to grow with is each others accounts.

Dear Genzyme Rep,
Here is the deal; Until we, the LabCorp /US Lab reps are told otherwise, You ,our Genzyme counterparts, remain our competitors. We will continue to go after your business and we will get paid if we close it. New business is new business. The deal is done, but you are not part of our team yet and may not be for some time. Thats the truth in a nutshell.

What did labcorp pay for Genzyme?

How much is us labs and Dianon worth alone or together? Have they made their budgets in the last few years? NOT, just a lot of fluff from management padding the numbers making it sound like they did, and where are they now?

If you look at it the power is now in Genzyme favor. It is a new ballgame with them, Us and Dianon are almost gone. So why not give it to Genzyme.
