How many of you got a tongue lashing this week? I have to sit there and take it. This guy is an idiot. Been with the company for years. Is never wrong and an expert on everything.

This could be any DM from anywhere in the country. Let's see... treat sales people well and pay them well> sales are great. Cut sales peoples pay and treat them like dirt with no job security> sales go down. Based on these comments it looks like sales will continue to drop. One reason; if you threaten sales peoples security (when they are working hard but faced with challenges that are rarely communicated up) they spend their time looking for another job. Not trying to win in a win-less scenario. Look at the DMs that continually mess with numbers to make the favorites, who don't work, win. Your worker bees are leaving and there is nothing you can do now. The end is inevitable. Upper management never did a spot check from the field and bought the corruption.Let your DM flap all day long. In the end it will be the same. Get out now.

I think we are very secure here. Rob said on the quest call that our jobs are safe. Marti and Logan say the same. If anything we will be adding headcount. The Simponi team is a great example. I hear that bob Russell took a losing academic team and turned them into winners. I have to imagine that he'll do the same with Simponi and then more hires. Have faith in these people. They are in their positions because they are the best and brightest business minds.

We are very fortunate to have these leaders. They could be runng other companies like Apple or Microsoft or Exxon and instead they keep their talents here. They are the reason we are the best sales force in corporate America. Marti's dedication to the Oz factor will make us even greater.

You idiot. Great salespeople are great no matter what they sell. Marti and Logan are teaching us to do what the great reps do from other companies. Ask the doctor to commit and hold him to it. Get into the hospitals and do what the academics are afraid to do, teach the CEOs and the finance officers about how Remicade dollars can save there hospitals. If I aS an academic I would be camped in the C Suite. If you don't demand the business you can't expect it to fall in your lap. But to do it you need to start at the top.
 






I agree. You can give them all the data in the world to convince them your drug is the best, but if you don't get a commitment before you leave they will never use it. Sales 101. Close them so hard thY they will feel the door slam! My RBD uses that one and it is so true.

You may think he is a great leader becasue he wins President's Club every year. It is impossible not to win when you are 1 of 1 eligible winners. Don't mistake aggressive for rude. I am aggressive. My people are aggressive. That is why we win. Because we want it more than you. If you can't get in your docs face and and demand the business you have chosen the wrong profession.
