RSMs - biggest waste of resources

When will it evolve? When will the babysitting environment stop? Don't they hire professionals to do the job, so is there really a1 need for the monthly ride alongs ? Imagine the costs involved with putting RSMs in hotels all week. Imagine the money that can be saved with change. Imagine if they cut that role in half with regards to number of RSMs. Cutting the RSM headcount by 50% would basically save 20 sales representative jobs with the layoffs coming. They could do quarterly ride alongs to actually help the individual territory.

Evey National Sales Manager we've had in past 6 years have ZERO courage to try to implement any changes at that level. I wish pharma had more outside of the box thinkers.

Where are the Billy Beans types of the industry ? Someone that will implement change with confidence.
 












Career pharma management have huge egos because they make easy money and think they are smart because the paycheck says so. The industry promote good sales people into those positions with no regard to the people skills, or lack there of, they have.

If Tris had 300 reps or zero, dyanavel sales would still be the same. No one even knows who we are. Find yourself a side job like I did. Get paid for “selling” Tris products
 






Why are so many people leaving this company? Is it really that bad? Is senior leadership really that out of touch with reality? I’ve heard nothing but bad things about this organization.
