Is anyone shaking their heads over the excess hiring of multiples of reimbursement specialist. They claim the pilot was a success...wow we reduced turnaround time by .7 days. OMG the pilot was a disaster !! The increase turnaround time in my territory was due to using care plus. Ok, if this is needed for legal, I get it, but I am afraid that they feel it is going to turn our approval rate around. If anything it is affecting the sales reps access, just what the offices need another Mallinckrodt rep! Upper management, please realize you are in over your head! Hire someone that knows rare disorders to run this ship, or get a reimbursement team that actually has rapport with the payors, or even one payor. Hey the referrals are going through, but aren't getting paid. I always knew this day was coming, but I am shocked the decrease has come so quickly...SOS.
