RP we need your help at PV

I know this is not the right venue but something has to be done, we are going in the wrong direction at PV. We are all too afraid to bring this to attention at P Value. We need a kick in the rear or for you to drive BD. We are not generating opportunities the way we used to. To make matters worse, FD is everywhere and getting work. He is a virus. The office is talking about this and mgmt does not know or know and ignores it

He is in Salix
He is in Gilead
He is in GSK
He apparently neighbors JK (CEO) of LEO. Someone here saw the two of him or her at the Blackhorse a month ago
He is in Warner c pitching
Who knows where else?

My point is that he is motivated to beat us. That is not good when all we are doing is treading water. The people here are talking that a motivated FD is better than a complacent PD. Either bring him back or you come in (the tide has swung back to him if you know what I mean). At a minimum motivate LC PD and JS. This is sad and getting worse

i think it his old ladies company. rick please go help them. you can help 2 companies simeltaniously

yes, it is his wife's company called pValue. He should go and just "help" her and leave us alone. I understand he tried to "help" her before and she got rid of him bringing in this guy FD. That is when Rick came to Par begging PL for a job.

rp brought the Glaxo business to blp. a couple of big whigs a glaxoo had it in for pl and rp. they did everything they could and and did it well but when someone at that level has it in for you are dead. Incidentally it was the best thing that ever happened to blp. it forced them to expand their rev base. they had 2 clients at the time of this incident. 3 years later they were stronger than ever

Not true. BLP was into Glaxo when RP was still a sales rep. BLP had business with products such as AZT, Zovirax, etc. well before RP came to Research Triangle Park in respiratory products. Also not true about having just 2 clients at the time RP lost Glaxo as a client. They had Glaxo, BMS, Merck, Abbott, Stuart/Zenica/ICI, Pfizer, Roche, and W/C. Glaxo was their largest customer however.
True that it scared PL so much that the company almost went down the tubes and everyone lost a lot of money in stock that he did indeed expanded the revenue base, bought several companies, and brought in new people. True, that 3 years later they were stronger than ever but not due to RP. I was on the inside working in Fair Lawn and then Wayne and I do know the facts. At the end of BLP/Cardinal Health when PL and a few others left and RP was put in charge as "President" (big joke) is when the company was sold to Platinum Equity and that was essentially the end of a company that PL and others built from $5 million (1988) to $250 million (1998).

it was primarily a BMS Glaxxo company.....rp owned the glaxxo relatioship from his pm and rep days 40 mmm a year. I dont love they guy but give him his due

Again, the problem is that even living in RTP and being in Glaxo every single day, he should have "owned" it from the CEO on down and never lost it to CS, a disgruntled BLP past empoyee. By the way, at that time BLP (before Cardinal) also was in big time at Merck thanks to Zeke and Art, Wyeth and Abbott due to SF and CB. I wonder if RP is still wearing those bow ties?

no he has converted to ties. the merck stuff came after glaxxo. I too was in fair lawn and wayne. remeber rp helped sell that merck safe harbor cv stuff.

the guy we tangled with at glaxxo is now the worldwide ceo. he hated pl more than rp. we never stood a chance
