we want to to know..... those of us on the outside whats going on with JnJ . Most of the reps I meet in florida are older and just look tired and kind of beat up . I am new to the OR and always thought they were the pinnacle of device sales. I see more JnJ reps kind of just working with the same Dr's all the time . I mean no disrespect but it looks like they have lost all self respect . I was in a or and saw the suture , endo energy rep and even the sling rep and a video guy all waiting for this Doc he was nice to all of them but just blew them all of . 1 wanted to show the new enseal he was like nah i dont like it then the other was showing the big echelon he was nah to bulky then the suture guy was trying to get him to use dermabond.
The only guy he showed love to was the rep with the flexible tip scope ( it was not me I was only observing) .
Again no disrespect but we all hear about how most of the nurses are even saying that you guys are always pushing stuff they dont even want . It is not like 15 years ago . Then the Bio guy showed up and he was all pissed off the Dr was using some potato starch. I am trying to sell headlights for a distributor and thought this would be a way into or sales . At this point I think I would appreciate a job with any division of JnJ more than the reps I observe .
Tell me should I even consider trying to get a job with JnJ or just keep working for small companies.
Tell me why are you guys so weathered and stressed I don't want to be like you at 45 or 50
