The good and bad of Rotech.
Good: You'll have a job for at least a year before they get rid of you for not getting your points
Bad: The locations all have skeleton crews so you won't get new business because they are over worked as is, let alone able to take on new business.
Good: Get Nocturnal Oxygen setups only
Bad: Because you set them up and never see them again.
I worked for Rotech for 7 years, when I started my location had 1 Manager, 2 CSR's, 1 Sales Rep, 1 Resp Therapy, and 3 Drivers.
When I left, it was down to 1 CSR only. Since I was the last driver standing.
How can you take care of patients when you have no employees? Rotech doesn't care, figure a way to get it done.
1 PST can't take care of reoccuring patients, check concentrators and setup new patients in a 8 hour shift. If you work overtime you get sent home early so you don't get overtime. Well if your the only PST you are on call 24/7 so at 5PM when your on-call and Joe Patient didn't get there LOX filled guess who gets called out? Thats right, the person who went home early.
I loved the job, most of the patients. It was when they got rid of RT's and made PST's do clinical work that it made it ethicially hard to keep working there.
The last thing you want is these PST's taking care of your grandparents(clinically).
Do what the previous person said, If you need the $ take the job but keep looking for something else, its just a matter of time before your working at your new job!!!
Good luck and remember Rotech cares about patient care!!!
