Rotations

Hi,

I'm a graduate student at Georgetown Univesity interested in doing the 2-year rotation program in San Francisco, I currently work with novo Nordisk, what are my chances of getting in? I know it's very competitive and I was told that most students come from feeder schools like UC Davis and Berkeley, should I even bother?

Who should I contact?
Any recruiting events in DC?

Would love some insight,

Thank you.

It's sad that one asks for information and gets responses like those above and it's sad that fools like you two make it to companies like Genentech. I take pride in my job and I love my company, but I don't want to stay in the field because I have a lot more potential in other areas hence why I'm pursuing a graduate degree and unfortunately it would be hard to transition within my company. Does someone have actual information, unlike the fools above?

Thank you.

My advice..don't ask legitimate questions on Cafe Pharma. Also usually competitors pretend they are employees and make foolish comments. Your best bet is through the Genentech website if you don't know anyone. Good luck ..it is an awesome company!!!

If you have the foolish wisdom to post on here, you're going to get what you end up getting.
Nice to see how high you are on your "potential". Stay where you are, we have enough self-centered pompous asses in San Fran.
