I come from small pharma and no roommates for meetings/training etc. What is Otsuka's policy on roommates? It's nice to get a bit of time off from constant talking at meetings.
 






























Yes it is a real reply. I was hoping that this thread for Otsuka would not degenerate down to what other companies threads are, full of BS. This company micro-manages a ton, but there are some good things too, including your own room at training. Will let you know once I get back from Texas for the Abilify meeting in Mid July.

Just finished my on line registration for July Texas meeting. Single room! Meeting cut from 5 days to 3, so all is well with Otsuka. Nobody was looking forward to 5 days in Texas.

It's responses like this that make this board not so great. For the rest of you, thank you for the serious answers. It's nice to know; it's a big deal when you get used to having your own room. We talk constantly at those meetings and it's wonderful to have time to recharge and enjoy something you never get at these meeting- silence and relaxation. This poster obviously doesn't get that (if he's a rep at all- most likely a high school student thinking he's funny.)

Thank you! I sincerely hope this is true! If it is, this company is what it says. Respectful of experienced (i.e., not 22 years old) and won't waste time with an extra two days if it's not needed.

Not so fast. We have to go back AGAIN somewhere a few months later in the fall. WE should NOT have to share rooms anyway. That is absurd.

I would have taken the job regardless of roommates (or car, etc.) but this is so nice to know! It makes the whole 12+ hour days much nicer if you get that little smidgen of time to yourself. We're all experienced and older- thank god we have a company that treats us as such! GOOD SIGN!
