Role of CCO is Antiquated…. Get Rid of It

In a company like BMS the business uni heads for each TA can directly report into the CEO. No need for a CCO. This concept is being tested at BMS already. Example Lynelle & Ben. Chris Boerner is a BIG fan. Lurch might be deadwood soon. Saves BMS a TON of money. Watch this space

McKinsey have been recommending some deep changes
- Getting rid of CCO model, moving to a business unit focus. Encouraging results with the Cell Tx & Radioligand Tx BU model from an efficiency standpoint
- Merging R & D into 1 unit. Samir or Robert (or both) may be gone
- Eliminating the WW function all together

Bold changes. But they may yield strong results. More to come as we get closer to earnings.

Even if 25% of this is true, this is a BFD! Lately a lot of information on CP regarding BMS has turned out to be true. Leaky faucet

They keep moving SVPs in commercial from role to role within 1-2 years. Really stupid move. No chance for them to get some grounded experience or demonstrate capability. Zero accountability. Really f’ed up. Many commercial leaders at BMS I’ve interacted with shallow Linked In divas. Zero substance. Much like Adam L. Chris needs to clean up this rotten ADHD culture in commercial.
