For Rochester is Contact Lens Manufacturing all that will remain in Rochester?
Legal - Likely going to New Jersey as it is a corporate function
Regulatory- Not sure
Marketing - Clearly going to be based in New Jersey
Quality- Management based in New Jersey- Manufacturing Quality contact lens remains
Finance- New Jersey for sure
D&R - Not Sure - It may be difficult to manage if the head of D&R is based in New Jersey and all the other Eye Health functions are in New Jersey to manage D&R in Rochester. Certainly all of the D&R desk jobs could move to New Jersey. There really are not that many laboratories - you could suppose that it would not take that much to relocate the Chemistry, Process development, etc labs to New Jersey as well.
