ROC Clinical Staff

Just got word from some folks in VC R&D that the majority of our clinical staff have been let go. What the hell is happening up there in ROC!? Will VC clinical studies be outsourced, or are we not planning any new VC product launches soon?

Well, the clinical staff let go to be more precise. We'll see if HR recognizes and deals with the organizational cancer or if it's just swept under the rug. If it's the latter then the "D&R" pipeline is fcuked.

Did the D&C have an article on this? It would be a good article for the paper to discuss local layoffs and the future of B+L employment in Rochester.

As a responsible member of the clinical team, I can confirm that all three clinic members referenced, left of their own accord, for their own reasons, after providing and working through an appropriate notice period.

All is Happy in Mudville. The in-house clinic staff has been successfully replaced without any trace.

By the turnout at their farewell party, they will be missed. Their knowledge, skills, optimism and kindness.

Why did they leave (3 at the same time)? Was it personal or job related? I am sure they gave their reasons at the farewell party. New job? Hate current job? All three got pregnant at the same time? Forced out?

A three person quitting party from the same department is certainly unusual.
