What happened here? Did Rob leave on his own or was he forced out? Isn't his wife a TSS that he met while he was in sales training? Rob leaving sends up a red flag about the stability of Oncology.

Rob got a better offer from another company and allows him to work from home with less travel and help take care of his new baby!! NO mystery NO crazyness, just more money and less travel better quality of life.

Rob is a "stand-up" guy - Best of luck to you, your new family and new career - you have a big fan base here and I'm glad that I've heard NOTHING negative about you since you moved on.

Rob, your reputation for being a great training manager is well known among those who were here before the people who weren't able to train under you. We have heard and understand that those of us in training now are all suffering in your absence.

This is the kind of fucked up nuts we have to deal with.

Really? There are some sincere, positive posts for a guy for whom I have yet to hear anything negative and then...well, then there's your post. I think the only "nuts we have to deal with" are the likes of you and your perpetual negativity. I've worked in a few companies and this one is by far the best one. You clearly have issues that need professional help - seek counseling. I hope you one day see the glass as half full and stop lashing out at those around you because you're miserable. Best of luck.

Dude, you misunderstand his post (I'm betting OP was drunk when he wrote this). He was giving props to Rob but was slamming the current trainers-namely KP.

-First, let's not cannonize a person just because they left Prometheus. RS was in a management position in onc and the head trainer in PL's home office for a long enough time that he to is just as culpable as all the remaining management structure in all of the fucked up shit that goes down here. To make it into management in this company means that you have heard and agree, at least outwardly, in the companies management style. In fact, as the head corporate trainer he probably was the first to place a target on incoming reps to field management to break those reps that questioned anything.

-Secondly-the guy ended up having an affair with a field rep while in a management position. A position which could assist her above other reps within the management chain of PL. He even ended up marrying her.

-Thirdly-He hired JD.

Granted, he did leave PL but let's face it, it wasn't because he left as a protest or because he was disgruntled with the management style employed and encouraged by upper management, or the direct lying to reps regarding going public. No, he left to make more money, which you cannot blame a person, but also to spend more time with his family that was started with a woman that was in a position to benefit, and did, from his position in PL.

Where did you work, Enron?

Rob Scott saw the writing on the wall. He joined Larry Hansen, along with several other ex-Prometheans, at Biotheranostics. They are all doing great, and very happy now. They feel they have a promising future.

Yea, they are feeding you the same line of bullshit that they fed everyone while they were at Prometheus. It's a great time to be a Promethean! If I hear that one more time I may go ballistic.

I know for a fact Jeff D is pissed because they left him hanging at Prometheus instead of inviting him over to the new company. He still claims to be best friends with Rob, yeah right!

Jeff was one of the worthless ones who rode Rob to the top. That guy is the single best example of how kissing ass can make an average rep/trainer your new boss.
