Well said, but you forgot the part where the RM carries the quota growth even after TMs depart.  You can't possibly manage a region successfully while carrying the burden of growing a vacant territory or two.  Even after a new TM is hired, the RM still carries the previous TM's out-of-control quota.  No chance to make a decent living with 45-50% turnover while you're working 24/7.  Its a visious cycle and not much you can do to affect the outcome.  Stay away from this place!
