Riva's Grand Venitian Adventure

Kudos to Riva for orchestrating an OGD offsite in Venice. Last year Rome this year Venice and NEXT YEAR FLORENCE. I want to also thank him for letting the group stay a couple of days extra so we could work from the hotel on the small island off the beaten path. I hope he expensed his opera tickets. Since no doubt he was "working". Why is the rest of the department told to cut costs and he is sending the team to the most expensive Hilton Hotels throughout Italy. Yeah sour grapes but we get a lot of money from Medicare and the feds don't like seeing pharma companies take vacations on the taxpayer dime.

This ain't the smartest use of corporate dollars. I can't believe someone would have a team building in Venice. Adds new meaning to the Tourist, reference to that fine movie

You're just jealous. Venice was beautiful and our team needs the quiet serenity of a Hilton hotel on a small island off Venice to create our strategy. The additional days was also needed because we work real hard.

This is quite disgusting....

Joe Jimenez is taking about costs-cutting and possibly cutting more jobs....

...and the Head of Oncology Development is spending 250,000 Euros in some meeting in Venice....

Enough money to keep at least two US/EU reps employeed for a year.

After building an amazing and "way-over-the-top" architectural campus in Basel with gourmet restaurants.....Can Riva truly justify this expenditure ?

Disgusting....
Demoralizing...

Are you just jealous because Riva likes Italy?

Do the smart thing that is work less and get paid more per hour. With all the cost cutting we can do less and get the same pay. Summer's coming so I plan on hitting the links each day.

....What bunch of crap !

Here I am, selling the crap that Riva's developed....and all I get to eat is a plate of french friens with Joe's Heinz Ketchup + a diet soda to wash them down.

Fuck it
I refuse to continue to work for these assholes
