Melville-based Nycomed US Inc., the U.S headquarters of a Swiss company, is planning to lay off 40 Long Island employees, or about 7 percent of its Island work force, a company spokesman confirmed Wednesday.

I laugh because the "cheaters" who sold off label and won pres club all these years are still here. We said good bye to some real good reps and managers who did not sell of label. In the end this company will go down because of the off lable promotion and the rif raf that got us into this position will go down with it. MS is a GOOF!

Good Manager?? You call JC, JW and the others good managers? You must be one of the layoffs because you're obviously too stupid to know who is worth keeping. Keep pointing the finger at others and refuse to take responsibility for your own actions or should I say lack of action. You all get comfortable in your positions, coasting through your days with no management skills whatsoever. You think your easy ride is going to last forever but it doesn't. Good luck getting another job because when you're at the bottom no one wants you.

Ha. The Plant Manager was rightfully demoted. He's now a 1/4 Plant Manager. That's what you get when you go to an hourly employee for all your advice. Paybacks...it's glorious.

What's funny is, the Director of Manufacturing was fired for doing the same thing.
Or rather, he is currently "pursuing other opportunities".
