I just loved that woman. Didn't always agree with her, and yes, she was more than just a little acerbic (to the point of being downright rude) about some folks, but I will miss seeing her on TV....

and she went out like I want to go -- under anesthesia...

She didn't affect me that much one way or the other. I've been in the same room when my girlfriend watched her recent talk show about fashion. She cracked a couple of good wisecracks. I agree on leaving under anesthesia. I think that's all there is to death, a complete disconnect from the CNS. I do wish there was a heaven with people naked and we could all go back to our hottest age and hook up with whomever we missed on our first time around. But - I don't think it will happen. Damn!!!

So sad after losing Robin Williams also. Laughter adds years to your life.

I think she was lucky to go quick rather than wither away in sickness for years like so many others do.

She bashed and insulted, with equal abandon. She didn't believe in sacred cows, like so many of today's pussy, no-talent Comedians.

And she didn't apologize for her comedy either. Which of course pissed a lot of people off. But what the hell, if we can't laugh, we're dull.

I remember my brother putting golf balls in my Dad's casket. He wanted to be there when it (the casket) was being pushed into the mausoleum just to see the guys faces when they realized something was rolling around in there.....
