Lilly exec to join Star Media

Sales and marketing veteran Doug Wilson will become the first chief marketing officer for Star Media, which includes The Indianapolis Star.
Wilson, who will join Star Media on May 1, has more than 20 years of marketing experience in building brands for companies in several industries.
He is a senior director within the neuroscience business unit at Lilly USA, a subsidiary of Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical maker Eli Lilly and Co. At Lilly, he has been responsible for leading consumer marketing strategy, customer planning, brand operations and consumer marketing execution for Cymbalta, Lilly's largest drug brand.
