Rett Rare Disease ABM Openings

If you came to this board wondering why these jobs are being posted it is because a third of the rare disease sales ABMs have RESIGNED. This is a dead end job with zero upside, poor leadership, a product that only provides nominal improvement at best and causes massive diarrhea in 90% of patients. Sales are way down because the word is out that the drug benefit doesn't outweigh the horrible diarrhea and entire division is in PANIC mode. If you are considering applying, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this POS "big Pharma run" company.

You forgot to mention that those of us who are left are looking for new jobs and dying to get out of here lol

This is true. You need to run away as quickly as possible. The manager in the south is a pure idiot and not sure how he still has a job. Tries to bully and harass his team and the FAM's. HR and Compliance protect him and the OIG would shut down this company on his actions alone.

It's true. MO got canned from recordati because his performance was terrible. Got put on a PIP, but failed. Spent a ton of company money on lavish dinners. JVJ stole money from the company. These two are bad news folks.

Some of this thread is true...
Some of this thread is dangerously false: MO and JVJ are good guys and ethical in my direct experience with them....I know them and work with them. Meaning, I'm not posting based on he-said-she-said bs. I have nothing to gain; I'm not okay with libel.

This is 1000% TRUE!! And yes, an OIG investigation could shut down this company for the off-label marketing of Daybue, misleading information about Daybue's efficacy and most of all, the downplaying of Daybue's safety profile! It's absolutely CRIMINAL!! Stay tuned... can you hear my whistleblowing???

I would add they provide misleading persistence rates that don't include patients who are on full therapeutic dose. They talk about the "sweet spot" when dosing (minimal amount of drug that reduces side effects while providing minimal efficacy). They tout KOL's and their mitigation plans for limiting side effects but in reality, their persistence rates are not any better than the national average. Overall, this place is all smoke and mirrors w/terrible leadership. There is a reason for mass exodus in less than two years and those of us that are still there are trying like crazy to get out.

This house has been on fire since Q4 2023 and now our captain has "abandoned ship" one year and 8 months post launch. What will we do?
Is Acadia a real company? Or some offshoot of a big Pharma? I heard they hired Jim Kotsailidis who got fired from Novartis for working for Santarus at the same time. He spent a decade trying to blame several of his bosses and coworkers when everyone knew he'd be arrested or sued for Fraud. He had to pay back a ton of money and got banned from Pharma so Acadia must not be Pharma?

Don't be surprised if some of these open territories are not filled. Another quarter of not coming close to reaching goals and we know what 1s qtr. in 2025 will look like. New CEO, soon to be new CCO and SVP of Sales, I'm anticipating sales force to drop to 18-20 and lose an RBL.
