Read it - all new hires have signed this for 5 years anyone new will be required to sign it - they think they own us.

Page 3 - section b

“I agree that during the restricted period, I will not, without prior written consent of the company , directly or indirectly, (I) carry on or engage in Competitive services within the restricted territory, or other areas of assigned responsibility on my own or on behalf of any person or any principal or representative of any person, or (ii) own, manage, or operate, join, control or participate in partnership form or otherwise where such business in the provision of competitive services within the restricted territory or other assigned areas of responsibility. I acknowledge that the non-competition terms are reasonable.”

Same language for “protected customer”
Same for recruitment of other employees

non competes for sales reps is not enforceable in right to work states unless you have an employment contract and sunovion will not do that. They are just dying to do a scare tactic
 






It's illegal in Mass to make signing a non-compete a condition of employment. You're can refuse to sign and they can't retract your offer. Anyone starting new at this company should just refuse to sign it.

Good luck explaining that to your new company when they get letters and phone calls from Sunovion’s lawyers. They absolutely do pursue it, and no company wants to deal with that so they’ll just move on from you. Sunovion will do whatever they can to screw you both while you’re there and if you try to leave. Horrible, disgusting company.

you are hilarious. I hope Sunovion does come after me. Them]n I can counter suite them and enjoy the rest of my life living off the settlement. By the way the news, Facebook and Twitter would explode and the Japanese would be embarrassed. Think twice

this is true. The Japanese are all about their public face. They would be VERY disappointed and heads would roll
 












Bc no one at Sunovion knew we all signed one of the only non-competes in pharma. Not even managers. Most people working here now that have one either still don’t know it or just found out through the grapevine with this recent issue with IC. This is the first time they’ve pursued people for it. No managers are addressing it now with us either bc as usual at this company, the less we know about what’s actually happening, the better.
 


















Means they could come after you and prevent you from working in your territory w/ your new company and sue you personally for financial damages. They probably won’t, but they can for up to a year.

ypu are such an idiot. They will do nothing. A nOn compete is only bidding in EVERY state only if there is a benefit such as a contract and sunovion is not going to to sign a contract with reps and low managers.

1its a total bluff. I had a previous company try this years ago, I just laughed at them when I left and said come get me; you know where i live. Never heard fo the again
