Hey guys and gals let's keep track in our offices to make sure these old B&L wash ups that now work for Shire are not promoting off-label with their new drug that has not been approved yet. They are not supposed to make over 5 calls till they launch, and can't say a word about the drug being studies. If you hear anything drop a line to the FDA and their drug will get delayed which is good for us. Plus they have no clue what will hit them when our new co-pay card hits the market and they work for every scrip through the shitty managed care they will have.

Bull Sh--...you already have brought up to providers in my offices and led them where to go to learn about lifetegrast! You have already brought up to them how yours will be better than restasis and tote drug was delayed on 2 occasions not separating vs placebo...your drug won't launch if you keep bringing these things up!

before you throw your chest out and get all haughty, keep in mind a few things:1. Restates was turned down by the FDA and Allergan had to go back to the drawing board to do more and longer studies. There was nothing to show the drug had any effect over the vehicle. In fact, that vehicle was later marketed by Allergan. 2. Restates has one specific indication, which is not every dry eye patient. 3. Allergan has wrongly marketed Restates for ALL dry eye patients, which is selling off label. 4. The biggest complaint about Restasis currently besides the crappy reps is lack of managed care coverage. Please consider that I was a long time Allergan rep who launched Restates and promoted it for years. I am NOT with Shire and have no pony in your little race. Do not continue to drink the Koolaid that Allergan is still pouring. Learn to think for yourself. It will do you good when interacting with doctors who see your stupidity for continuously following blindly. You will gain more respect for having a brain and using it.

Glass houses. We better clean up our act before throwing rocks at others. I feel certain they will play dirty back at us if that is what you want. Most of us are promoting restasis improperly with lots of wink winks going on. I have been traveling to many offices and have seen some atrocities. Our reps are out of hand. Still writing on sales aids, making home made sales aids, promoting off label and more. Consider if they will do these things in front of me, what are they doing when noone is looking? Be careful what you ask for.
 




Shire product is trash. Better keep those resumes ready you merry band of Ophthalmology and Primary Care misfits. Shire will layoff 2/3 of you within a year of launch, if that POS product actually gets approved.
