We had our national meeting this week. There were 5 hours of role playing and 2 hours on diversity training. If you love role playing and diversity, you will love it here.
 


















If you get to work this role in the specialty business unit, you will develop great skills and expertise in verbalizing scripted or canned messages like a robot to healthcare providers. You will become very good in making up stories about seeing and talking to customers you have not seen. You will develop and become very good in lying, being dishonest, faking stories of best practices because the managers and the culture will encourage these traits. You will have to become very good at pretending to have achieved a lot during your day and comforting yourself from the frustration of having a very non-fulfilling job, at the end of the day, everyday. If you do not perform well in exhibiting these skills and behaviors, your manager will put you on performance plan.

You basically described every pharmaceutical sales job. The difference being you get paid a specialty salary saying said canned messages while driving around in a company car and free gas with great healthcare and PTO. There is access to Allergists and ENT’s who do allergy in this territory, so you don’t have to make up calls. Everyone is fully aware that pharma is run by a bunch a self serving people who don’t deserve to be managers who then get promoted beyond to then be back filled by another douche that kissed asses and shared fictitious stories of impact on team calls. Clearly the people whining about making a six figure salary haven’t worked at a shit hole pharma company.

This is 100% accurate for the specialty business unit at GSK. The leadership from top down is an absolute JOKE!! Especially Sheri,Richard, and Ashley V, horrible leaders
