ResMed/Respironics/Etc.

Philips has different reps for the labs and HMEs. ResMed has territory reps that cover all of the bases. The work days are not 9 to 5 by any means. Lots of relationship building along with the clinical component. It is a specialized market so the clinics take time to talk and work with you so you will have access versus alot of other jobs where people aren't interested in seeing you.
Not a ton of openings but a pretty good job if you can get it.

In response to #4....what does not 9-5 mean? I mostly sell in the OR and have not sold in this market, but an opportunity has come up in my area. Do the reps set up the machines in the patient houses? Is this a good field to be in long term? Thanks for any help.

typically your dealing with clinics and hospitals. You get a salary and commission. You get a car allowance plus insurance and maitan. The hours can be long--not 9-5 and the territorys are big so there's lots of miles and windsheild time--overall a great job

any updated info on salary and benefits?

If you exceed plan with spiffs you can make nice coin $140+.

It's more than 50 hours per week as good opportunities are many times. If you are willing and have the stones. You will WORK...it's a great gig. The great thing is as mentioned before..your customer WANT to see you.

Looking at open Jacksonville Territory, not sure where they're at right now. For the sake of argument lets say its coming in at 90% of quota currently. What would I be looking at.

Also if you've got any numbers on what they give you for car allowance and cell reimbursement, It'd be greatly appreciated.

@ base is the same across the board for practically everyone- 45K, and target bonus is paid monthly and that's where the real $$ comes in. If you make plan, your pay is around 105K (or more) if you exceed plan, it's a quarterly payout. Some reps make $150 plus within the second year

I was told today that the base salary is 85k, not the entry level straight outta college 45k...

Resmed - Territory Manager - 55K, suggest to be at around 150K at plan, highly doubt that's possible. Resmed is still not customer friendly and likely wont return calls like a professional organization. The region management teams are pompous to say the least. Resmed doesn't understand how important customer service works!!!
