Reps Pay

Hello, I am not in the industry, but see a lot of disgruntled employees. What does the average pharmaceutical rep make? I know it probably depends on the product you are selling, but for say Qsymia, not pacemakers or anything high end. Thanks. Just curious.

Ask your neighbor who is home everyday early. The one you are so curious about what the hell they do for a living that you resort to cafe pharma.

Current offers for new reps are very low at 50,000.00 salary. If you hit a quota you earn a bonus. That varies tremendously by company so do your research. Avg. at 100% is 20,000.00. Some companies are a little higher. The industry is imploding so it's not a good place to start a career. Good Luck to you and ignore the assholes who have nothing better to do with their time but poorly attempt some sort of sophomoric humor here. So weird. These are adults. ugh

$50000? You're way off. No one with experience would even get outta bed for that!

I think this person was giving an estimation for the Pharmaceutical Industry in general, not Vivus specifically. 50K is very realistic today. More companies are paying less in the way of salary, using contact sales reps to minimize their risk, not offering cars, and just going younger. Young kids fresh out of school work cheaper than reps with experience.

You get what you pay for! Vivus is all least smarter than most in that regard.
