It was well known that he was leaving and there will be two more to leave soon. I am so happy for him and it was on his terms. There is another, but not as close of a timeline. Others, unfortunately, wont be so fortunate. Intypical Cadence fashion, most of these departures will be kept as quietly as possible. Cadence, believe it or not, is actually happy about it. From sources in home office, in order to show a larger profit/less loss, they are wanting a reduction in sales management as well as the sales force. The plan was that it would naturally happen (as in the case of Randall), but within the next 3 months any excess managers left will be re-evaluated and some will be eliminated. This is true with the sales force. Expect at least a 30% reduction in the sales force. That's why it is important to listen to some of the common sense messages left by others to at least start applying to other positions to protect yourself. The goal wil be that each manager have 12 representatives.

I worked for Dave at another company and LOVED working for him. He was one of the best managers I ever had. I would work for him again in a heartbeat. Good for him... I have heard Cadence is a nightmare!!

The last post is a very wise and well informed person. Dave's position will not be filled and everyone looking for other jobs is exactly what our leaders want. No lay-offs but shrinking "loss" by attrition. Those of you bitching and still are not meeting your own expense (Salary + benefits) in each territory be afraid. You had your chance. Either put up or good bye! The axe is comming. It will not be a Merry Christmas for some!

Sorry, but there will be a reduction. You are making it very obvious that you are either Randy or one of the managers.
