Interesting, I didn't edit out the acquisition stuff as this is the ENTIRE BLURB and I thought I'd leave it intact so you can judge the whole by the parts....

An acquisition of Dendreon (NASDAQ:DNDN) is probably not going to happen in the near-term, says Credit Suisse, which explained that it doesn’t seem that any majors are interested. Further, the analyst continues that Dendreon has been quietly reorganizing its business development team, and that its head, David Ghesquiere, might have exited the company more than a week ago.

Company is obviously failing but they have no choice but to go on and burn cash because no one wants the company for much more than its current market cap. Company is a sad joke. A complete failure run into the ground by mismanagement, incompetence, illegal activity and greed.

Re: Reorg-Sales?

What is the plan with the salesforce? No backfilling of positions.. When will they make the cuts and create larger territories?

How can they make cuts when anyone who is let go can just go to EEOC and ask why they were let go for performance while Mitch Gold (whos performance is worse than anybody's) is allowed to remain. Just bring documentation that the comapny went from 35 to 7 last calendar year because of his criminal guidance and criminal reaffirmations of that guidance as late as the shareholders meeting. There has to be one person who can afford not to take severance and stand up for what is right, decline their documents that forbid you from going to EEOC and tell EEOC how you are much more valuable to DNDN than Gold and they are letting you go and keeping him on the board. Despite the fact that he's not considered an employee, the same principles of equal opportunity should remain in place..

The crying on this board is way over the top. Investing has risks. One of the risks we understood when investing in Dendreon was that Gold was not a typical CEO; he was a scientist. My eyes were wide open when I invested and gained and then lost. I look at the product, the market, the company and feel good long term that this is the place to be. They brought in a more typical, expereinced CEO and it is time to give him some rope and let him develop this company over the next couple of years. Now $6 next year much higher with 2014 even better. It takes time!

Ha Ha. 2014. As if....
By the way, Steve Jobs wasn't your prototypical CEO but he understood that we live in a country of laws and that securities laws apply to every CEO. This is D'Enron not Apple so we are comparing Apples and D'Enrons....

The title of this post was Reorg and a total Re-Org is coming very soon, let's just say that you wont need to hold on to your rain slickers and surfboards if you want to work here.

Typical CEOs aren't facing jail time down the line.
