Can't speak for Mbryan of course, but I am operating under the assumption that it only applies to specific individuals who are posters to this board and are not public figures.

Therefore, the statement that "The whole rotten bunch of <insert-party-or-group-name-here> is/are a bunch of <blankety-blank-blanks>" is acceptable.
