Remember the Bissell House?

The environment at the Bissell House was good because it was under RL not JL. Anything under JL had poor morale. Any managers still there that worked for JL have the same style, that is why they should go. I am talking about RG and WF.

Bissell House...Training department on how to sell pain management from assessment/recognition to medical/non-medical management...which lead to better outcomes in how pain was being managed (according to JCAHO, CMS, varous accrediting healthcare organizations and entities) .....which tangentially provided 6 figure annual bonuses to very talented reps in all sorts of territories.

I say, pay dynamic sales people who can educate and who care about the disease state because that is who healthcare providers will listen to. No one wants to listen to their employers on another policy and procedure blah blah...

oh the glory days!

Yes, I was last there in 1994 for an advanced training class. Purdue purchased that thing for a song, it was a foreclosure. As with most ATCs, the time was totally wasted. Jim Lang did make an appearance, which made things even worse. We had just gotten our first computers the year before, anyone remember Precise? Anyway, Mark Alphonso had slipped in some simple batch files that were intended to snoop on the rep, this was back before there were time stamps for calls and such. Being computer literate, I taught all the other reps how to delete the invasive files before telecommunicating them back to where Senor could get his rocks by snooping on Reps. THAT was the most constructive thing accomplished during the training session.

Remember the time management class, and the guy who taught it?. I still have the small binder issued with my name tag. I still cannot believe this was a full day training in how to manage time the old fashion way...they were still showing this course even after PDAs were available.
