Remember Perry is reactive not proactive

This is Perry's M.O. Same thing he did at B+L. He's re-hashing some of his old tactics. It goes like this...set goals way high hoping some will have what it takes to hit them. When 98% of the sales force doesn't hit them, then react by adjusting things in a "bell curve" after the quarter ends.
Mark my words. This is exactly what will happen. I guarantee it!
Nice try Perry. Maybe you shouldn't have brought so many of us from B+L over and no one would remember this crap.

Pretty damn demotivating tactic if you ask me. But it does make those non-performers want to leave before the adjustment is made. Wait, maybe it is genius on Perry's part?

it makes PERFORMERS want to leave. We came here to make money. We're performing at the top and the money promised is not there. Why would we stick around for this crap? I work hard and expect honesty. Those who don't perform aren't leaving. They have a higher base than they've ever had. They are happy. These are the people who got two free filled by lots of docs but haven't done anything since.

Not to mention how those of us who have been in eyecare a long time are used to being the only reps in our territories. Having to work in pods really sucks. Trying to remember which day or week I am supposed to be in an account and having multiple reps going into my accounts is making my job so much more difficult. Wish I had known his job was going to become a primary care position.....

Not true...I've had a higher base. I came here and took a pay cut for the premise to make some bank and launch a first in class drug. What I'm stuck with is shitty MC, a green manager who can't filter out the Corp BS from reality, and unrealistic goals that even though I'm out busting my a$$ can't get through the pharmacy bc of MC.

Also took a paycut to come here on the hope that I could blow out the bonus as I've done with every other launch I've been a part off. Man, was that a dumb move...

One thing I've learned after being in this industry for many years, is don't ever take a decrease in salary. Hiring managers always make the bonus structure seem so achievable, then when you get into the position, reality kicks in. Salary is the only thing that's guaranteed in this crazy profession we are in. And even that is in jeopardy now, with all these restructuring & layoff rumors.......
