Run away , run far away from this place unless you’re interested in wasting several valuable years of your career. The management team and overall environment is corrupt and riddled with incompetence.
I hope this helps

Totally agree. This is a high profile position and perhaps the strategy is to value the parents and construct deals to sell the intellectual property. They are not developing new products to patent which is why you would need a patent attorney and since this is the case the only other task is to unload the current IP. Good luck to the attorney that takes on this role.

What is the effing strategy here,
Clueless leadership burning remaining cash,
Would it not be more beneficial to dump the BOD, and CEO,CSUITE INCOMPETENTS

this is actually a good point. Why the need for a patent attorney? Are they developing new products so they can apply for a patent? I don’t believe so or there’s not enough to warrant a full time attorney. What will this patent attorney be doing? Helping organize existing patents to sell to companies. The IP is the only real value left so perhaps they are looking to unload a few to raise cash since sales led by idiots aren’t hitting their numbers. Hopefully they find someone good to facilitate the inevitable. For the sake of our jobs I hope I am wrong.

Further deception from leadership. The former attorney was a lightweight focused on mundane contract review for vendor agreements, leases and general corporate work.
Patents are complex and take years. More from KC to distract from what is really going on, which is ZERO!

Enzo's Chief Cousel, M.Kupferberg, resigned and has left to join a law firm. He is a decent guy, but saw the writing on the wall. Beware of the future and look out for yourself.

The Chief Counsel left Enzo a few weeks ago. He definitely saw the writing on the wall and quietly left. Not sure what value a new Patent Attorney will bring to the table especially in a company that may or may not last in the next year or so. I hope whoever considers this role, really look at the company before committing to this place, unless you are in a place far worse off than this place. There is only 1 attorney left and I would bet they are looking as well (as with everyone else)

Likely not a loss,
trying to save the salary,
no new patents in two years,
All the lawyer roles could be outsourced,
Once again the clueless place holder management, dragging their feet as they can not make decisions, the lack of relevent opinions, and basic knowledge are costing more shareholder value
Goodbye Monday

All the lawyer roles could be outsourced,

I'm not a lawyer, but I work with them. Highly disagree with this. The outsourced lawyers (and bankers that swoop in) are the absolute fucking worst. In fact, they can be part of the larger problem of trying to convince BMY to do stupid shit just so their firms can make fees.

While I agree with you, this isnt how Enzo operates. They usually have 1 lawyer on staff and an assistant and he or she is the point person to coordinate outsourcing of legal activities. If you look at the job description for the Patent Attorney, they are going to be outsourcing a lot of the work.

Ask yourself why the General Counsel left in the first place? A cushy job no doubt, but having to report to senorita dumbass is too much for anyone with a brain who can see what the future holds.

Let’s be clear , general counsel and all in house attorney staff has seen a rotunda of turn-over for the past 10 years all under the watch of seniorita dumb ass.
What does that tell you?

What does " quietly left " mean
1. Habibi called you up girlfriend for the next takedown
2. Cara thought she can do it alone as she is almost a lawyer already
3. You are costing too much and are only spending more than your flesh is worth
4. Or aliens have been to your house and called you away

5 Putin called you, "Red sparrow come home"

Heard the hired another big shot lawyer. How long does everyone think when he realizes what’s going on and decides to leave?
For anyone to sign on to the sinkhole there is a large pot of gold they are throwing at you, no new patents in 2 years.
Total total waste of capital chasing lawyers, no value in this, no patents, no success in these suits, failure after failure,
the price of incompetence
