Recruiters lying like crazy to candidates

anybody looking at this site, please do not listen to what the recruiters are telling you. The recruiter did not realize that I already worked at zoll because they had the wrong resume for me not updated.I just got a call from a recruiter today they told me that this is a thriving company with tons of growth, promotion opportunities, expansions etc. That are Lying through their teeth so they can get recruitment fees.none of this is true, there are absolutely zero growth opportunities into management, there is no growth, all the turnover is from people quitting it's not from expansion and growth. The whole thing is a complete lie from the recruiters all the way through management and upper leadership at at Zoll. If you're a sucker and believe what recruiters tell you and the regional managers that interview you, you deserve to take the job, and don't come on the board bitching cause you were forewarned!

here's a simple solution, when you interview with the regional manager for a position at zoll lifevest, ask the manager how many territory managers are under him and how long each one has been in their territory. That will answer all of your questions for you to move onto the next opportunity. Trust me!

This quote above may very well be the absolute best post and advice I have ever seen on this site to any candidates looking to interview at this company. Oh my, what I would do to be a fly on the wall to listen to regional managers answers and lies to candidates if they would ask that, and have to completely bullshit their way through it. It could be a reality comedy TV show.

I got approached for an opportunity in 09'…and it took me about 5 minutes to know the product was a PIG.

Those of you that go "lied" to deserve what you got for not asking more questions.

The best strategy to never let this happen again is to ask your doctors what they honestly think of the product BEFORE you take the job…and to visit cafepharma, of course.

Listen, I've been in medical sales for the past 20 years, and have been on and off of Café Pharma for every company I've worked at. I have to admit that there are the whiners that can't perform and come on here and bitch, but I have to tell you that when any one individual company has nothing but negative posts and threads that are endless, all stating the same consistent issues, you have to be a complete idiot to not find that there must be truth to it. I have to tell you that everything on this site about Zoll and the lifevest division is 100% factual. Take the advice from the person above, and asked to regional manager how many territory managers does he have on their him, and how long has each one them has been with the company. I would then ask if you could reach out to several of them, more than two to get feedback. Then ask them on the down low how long they've been with the company after truly happy. If you're a final candidate and they want to hire you the regional manager should have no problem doing that. I guarantee you you will get your answer, and run the opposite direction as fast as you can like a cheetah.

RUN. There are not enough words in the English language to describe the dysfunction here. It is indescribable. If I were paid a million dollars to come up with the most complicated, unworkable, inefficient, elementary, and frustrating processes I could, I still couldn't have topped what they do here. It is simply too bizarre to convey.

Are you going to let some washed up failures talk you out of your dream job? If so, I don't think you have what it takes to be a Zoll Man. However, if the neurons are firing and you have a set of planters to boot you will stop listening to these negative pansies (yes I know it's Nancy's). Put down the phone or computer and come see me man to man and I will set you up with a job that will create you generational wealth and a skill set that would make recruiters blush.

LOL! This is so typical of Zoll management. Funniest post ever. The hundreds of sales reps that have come and gone over the past two years or so can't all be washed up.

Dream job? You mean the dream job that has like 80% turnover throughout the country each year? that's your definition of a dream job? a dream job with a device that's not even part of guidelines? Get real. This place is such a joke it's embarrassing actually.

We churn and burn the dead weight. Very simple process. Sit back and watch us grow. Goon squad what what!!

This is the best post on this thread. additionally, DO NOT let the manager lie to you and steer around the truth by saying "yes many new reps but its because of growth and splits" , because that is a total bullshit lie to cover up the truth.

First thing you all need to understand is the recruiter's job is to pale people in a role. They are sales people. If they put you in a role, they make money. They don't care about you. They don't care if you stay there long term. They don't care of the company turns over 50-7-% of reps each year. The ONLY thing they care about is putting people in a job so THEY get paid. Yes they will lie to you and spit out the corporate message as to why there is turn over. They will tell you it's growth, territory splits, what ever you need to hear to get in the role they will tell you. Being that the Zoll manager is filling spots every few months due to the constant turn over they will also tell you what ever you need to hear to fill their opening. They also don't care that once you are on board you realize that they lied to you and that the recruiter lied to you. Now that you're on board you will fill a spot until you leave and then they will all lie again to fill the next chump.

To the above long winded poster! Don't hate the player, hate the game. Listen playboy, I've been sticking saps in roles while you were still milking your momma's tit. The guy who is always posting "churn and burn" understands the philosophy of a winner.
Lying, Cheating, whatever it takes. Look at Tom Brady!! He is a true winner. That being said I would still stick him in a shitty role at a shitty company and not lose any sleep over it.

Reading this post just makes me laugh as this is exactly why most companies have gone to hiring their own company employed recruiters. Companies don't want a recruiter that tells everyone what they want to hear and neither do candidates. Companies and candidates want good fits for the role. This is why your role will change over the next few years as you will be employed by a company and will actually have to tell the truth, care and have some skin in the game. Hey, don't hate the player, hate the game!
