Recruiter listed a non-med job on Medreps

SO I answered an ad from Medreps for a medical sales job. The recruiter contacts me and startes to sell me on "another job" that he says fits my experience in a niche market. Its with Thomson Rueters selling website internet marketing and advertising to companies which I have had some experience in in previous sales rep job. Very cutting edge stuff web traffic and with ROI info, etc to track the new business brought in. Very intrigued by it and its potential.

So I go along with it and hear him out. Money potential sounds too good to be true and there has been high turnover at least in this territory. Yes I see obvious red flags but the reps in surrounding cities are killing it $$ and he says they come here and fill in and are making sales while the territory is open. I go on the interview and meet with the Regional. Interview goes well and according to recruiter the manager likes me and thinks I can do the job but he has reservations about hiring someone with med sales backgound because they tend to not stay on board too long here and/or thru out the country.

Best thing I like about this is the territory is very small with no overnights. I am in a bad situation now with current employer.

What would you do?

Thanks and good luck!

If the money is right take the job.

I have a 2nd interview this week. The recruiter said to have my "brag book" ready. WTF? I have some plaques I recieved but they don't scan real well. Sales numbers are not shared with the reps and even if they were it would be confidential. Base is $10 less than what I make currently. Everything else is based on potential. But I do like how they pay monthy bonuses from previous month. Wish me luck.
