Recent Interview with Pinnacle Biologics

I recently interviewed with Pinnacle Biologics and was not impressed at all.
They told me that they're seeking to expand the sales force by adding 6 additional reps. They didn't mention a word of attempting to sell Photofrin to BTG, as I read in this forum.

I was not impressed by the description of the job which was laid out by the manager Brad and a lady from HR, Peggy. The territories are huge for such little pay! After looking at this board, the measly pay doesn't justify the headache (or potential jail-time, for that matter) of working for this organization.

They were really unclear on the outlook of the future for Photofrin. They simply could not clearly tell me what the plans are for the product. The manager Brad fumbled his words a lot and came across really unsure of himself. There's something really fishy about this company!

I decided to withdraw as a candidate.
 






Great choice.
If you had decided to take the job, you wouldn't have been an employee; you would've been a scapegoat for "leadership" failings and mismanagement.

You just saved yourself the cost of an employment attorney; which you would need to negotiate your escape from the clutches of these dirty slime-balls.

"...Brad fumbled his words..." This communication deficiency acted as an indicator of lies coming out of Brad's mouth. I recall certain teleconferences when Brad would constantly fumble his words. Our "post-teleconferences" after those episodes were always addressed with some degree of sympathy for Brad. We would discuss how difficult it was at times for Brad to lie because of the constant word fumbling.

Sadly for Brad, we live in a day and age where speech and communication is scrutinized. I imagine most professionals will interpret the fumbling of words as an indicator that hidden information exists. I applaud this particular job seeker for taking note of the inability to communicate important information pertinent to a job. The candidate probably had no desire to seek further information on Cafe Pharma, until the communication alarm became activated.

My advice to Guillermo is to have Bob or Erik conduct the interviews. Brad can be a horrible liar due to the fumbling of words. And they'll continue to lose qualified prospects after the interview because of Brad.

Also, they'll continue to run into brick walls should prospects and recruiters contact former Pinnacle Biologics employees. The beauty of Linkedin for all exploring opportunities with this fly by night organization. Conducting a "background check" on the Pretenders at Pinnacle Biologics has never been easier.
 






Bob will bore the candidates to sleep with his monotone speech. Guillermo is difficult to understand, thus an interpreter should be used. And Brad has a word fumbling, mumbling, studdering speech impediment. They are left with Peggy, who still can't answer HR questions and continues to be unclear on benefits coverage. Sharon is out of the question, unless you have a candidate who is passionate about boats and sailing. Talk about an interview team which resembles "The Bad News Bears." They can't even score an interview at this point.
 






Especially when recruiters continue to interview former employees about what the disfunction of this company is all about. They fired Beth because her position was "no longer needed"... Now they are hiring a New MSL... I thought the position wasn't needed?!?!?

Maybe Beth's firing had more to do with her being uncomfortable with the off-label sales and being incentivized for off-label promotion. Interesting that she was fired only after she brought this up as an issue...

This must be the worst company in the industry to work for! Maybe if I looked good in Prison stripes then maybe I would consider employment from this pile of dig-shit of a company.
 












I've had at least 8 people (combination of recruiters amd candidates) contact me since my departure. And a BIG thank you is expressed after my sincere feedback. Most of the times, they want to know how accurate is the information on this forum. I tell them it's as close to 100% accuracy. The most convincing evidence are the emails in the thread "Memorable E-Mails."

Also, I have directed them to contact the FDA. The recent termination of the MSL has created concern with every person which has contacted me since her termination. They viewed her track record on Linkedin and cannot understand why her employment was brief. Again, a few have read the reason for termination on this forum and have contacted me for confirmation.

I suggest for every recruiter and prospect contacted by Pinnacle Biologics for an employment opportunity, to first contact a former Pinnacle Biologics employee. They are on Linkedin and should the inquiry be sincere (legit), they will confirm the facts posted on this forum.
 






Thank you to the former PDT reps who were gracious enough to return my call during some of the hiring which recently took place at Pinnacle. It is important to maintain credibility with potential candidates since many tend to become employment contacts for many years.
