In February the Recall is Soothe® Xtra Protection (XP) Eye Drops

Not a good start to 2011.

The cost of each recall must be in the tens of millions of dollars. A turn around for this company does not seem likely. WP would not be able to sell a company that just had two recalls. Unless they want to hold onto this thing for years there may be a big change coming soon to B&L.

What horrible management. Add these to the PreserVision recalls and this is three recalls in less than a year in the Pharma Division.

Very poor products being introduced to the market. You would think someone would be held accountable for such poor execution in product development.

PreserVision® Eye Vitamin Bausch + Lomb recall due to difficulty swallowing or a choking when taking the soft gel.

B+L R&D. All smoke and mirrors while market share drops due to recalled products, no FDA approvals and exaggerated claims of new product innovations that never pan out.

We need to hire some hot shot VPs that can turn R+D around. Maybe someone from Novartis with a good track record.

Agreed. Non-performers should be replaced. We need to find new leadership. There has to be some quality Research Executives that we can find out there.

You guys don't get it. WP won't spend another dollar on this company. It feels like it's pumping gas into a car they have already totalled.
