Reason for Fri After Hours increased volume

Again, the buyout rumors are just that. Rumors and NOT happening.

Volume increased in afternoon and into evening as mgmt was rumored to have sold millions of shares into the market place to raise capital for debt and operational expenses.

Please be careful if stock price starts to tank and drop again. Be sure not to get greedy for a 3rd time and lock in profits.

The anon poster above is not that far off. Mgmt would indeed wait until a spike in sales price before unloading and dilution shares into the market place to raise even more cash. Makes sense to sell when stock price is higher then when it is lower.

So yes Mgmt took advantage of today's false buyout rumors and pump and dump to help improve Pernix balance sheet. Cannot really blame them.

18 million additional shares was rumored to have been sold into the market today (Friday) by Pernix mgmt.

This makes total of 30 million of the allotted 100 million shares approved that have now been diluted.

Once this becomes public news on Monday, could cause drastic price swings (most likely down alot)

The price movement started on pre market before the BO rumors. Within 3 hrs over 15m shares had traded. BO rumor came out around 2pm. If mgt flooded the mkt with 18m shares this would have plummets not gone up. There is no demand that can absorb 18m shares being dumped during a trading day and the price go up. Are you implying that management created the rumor of the buyout to organize a dump. Furthermore with the cash on hand at the end of Q2 assuming the same burn rate and losses (no improvements) the cash on hand would last at least thru Nov. Stop the nonsense

but had its climax today w/ an actual BO rumor post as referenced by streetinsider
which got retracted later on in the afternoon.

Hence company had enough time to disperse the 18M shares, IMO.

Last 10-Q already mentioned a higher OS count but w/o any explicit PR or offering,
so I assume these shares were also sold into the open market, assuming they were shelved
and within the allowed range compared to pre OS.

It was surely surprising that the race continued in AH w/o people selling off the risk.

Was surprised me the most was that trader actually ignored the explicit risk of dilution as stated in the 10-Q filing.

I don't believe in the BO either but to say that they are diluting shares while the price goes up is completely ridiculous. You mislead peope like all the pumpers and bashers. I have seen L2 ask walls 20k 30k @ .70 .80 being eaten through.
You tell me why one would keep them up there w/ BO knowing PPS will be above $2?

The WS Grinder may be a lot of things, but unethical liar is not one of them. I am NOT this poster called "Kudos". Repeat I am not Kudos. Honestly Kudos seems to be much smarter investor in doing due diligence than I as his posts make even more sense than mine.
