Realistic commission

Base 80-100
Commission paid on tests to quota and if reimbursable or not. This is the big issue in NIPT and something you can only do so much about. You will be very dependent on Labcorp sales reps. Negotiate a low quota and you should do ok for a couple of years.

Recruiter is saying 90k commission at plan.. So are reps making 200k ? Why only a few years? Do you see them folding ? I hear that it's a lot of cash pay since no plans really cover it .. Is that true?

I would not recommend taking a commission plan on revenue with ariosa. Low risk is not covered. They have no in network contracts. Lab corp has all the contracts so ariosa won't be let in directly. They offer nothing unique

Low risk is not covered, you will only be paid for a small portion of units

Where are they hiring?

There isnt anybody in the lab world making 200k or in healthcare period. Those days are long gone and they aint coming back. Best case 100k at plan with an ever rising quota. NIPT is history because all of these companies are looking to be profitable and the insurance companies are going to reduce their payments. In turn these companies will cut back on sales reps. By this time next year it will look like a poor pharma company.
