With so much pressure on insulin prices, other medication prices and access shutting down nationwide, How much longer will Lilly keep so many reps! I live in a state that has ok access but at the beginning of the year many clinics closed their doors! How much longer do we keep up these lies about seeing customers? Will another realignment happen this Fall?

Bottom line it use to be all 50 plus year olds and especially male were severanced out Ian now it will be all 45 year olds with 20 years of service,,,,Gone. We really need to do this to survive as drug prices drop. This saves from a pension, healthcare, and salary stand point. Doesn’t help with experience though. Bottom liner all pharma is in trouble go sell real estate.

well with insulin, are we really adding any value by being in the office? are you actually engaging in clinical discussions about humalog or basaglar? we all know that would be no. CVS et al sell basaglar for us, trulicity requires a bit of handholding in terms of getting patients started in the primary care setting but it would only take one rep per territory to cover all diabetes meds, let's be honest.

Agree! Specialty and PC can be merged too!

US insulin is an oligopoly. If there was true competition, we would see price competition.

We don't have price competition at all.

In a perfect world, Lilly would be heavy on lifestyle changes to reduce Type 2, and would benefit as a result. Maybe 90% is preventable.

We need to rebrand ourselves, and that could start with an aggressive employee wellness plan that includes forbidding donuts and evil pastries from company offices. Nobody at Lilly should be OBESE.
