How many times can they change us around? Does anyone know if people will lose their jobs during the realignment? It seems like they are just trying to retain us a few more months.

Dendreon is deeply in debt and is losing money and the CEO gives no insight into what his thinking is. He just confirms that he is actually thinking. Hard to make plans under that scenario.

Proof the end is near: With approximately 6 months of cash left, management's big idea to increase sales is to double down in hospitals by expanding the hospital sales force by 8 more people. This a business we've repeatedly walked away from because PHS sales net us so little GROSS revenue (approx 6 - 8% after COGS), and non-PHS sales are under water by THOUSANDS. Not to mention that it'll take 3-4 months of the barely 6 months of solvency left to even hire 4 of the 8 people required. It's insane. Management is either stupid (no comment) or outright knows this isn't the answer, but changing focus is the only thing that they haven't tried. They have to merely APPEAR to investors that they're changing things for the better-we will be chapter 11 by the point they'd have to answer for the madness.

Madness like: adding $1M in overhead to hire 7-8 people to work a business sector that is a) far more difficult to access, b) yields little return on investment, and c) is priced underwater for customers in the areas where we could net a profit.
