Very good point.  If someone (middle-aged male, for example) really thinks he was discriminated against, then seek legal action.  Stand up for what you believe in.  However, I think something like that would be costly to prove.  With the 12/10 displacements, it seems like there really was no rhyme or reason.  I think tenure with company seemed to play a big part, but I didn't see that the case everywhere.
