Anyone know the base range and target bonus for rare disease?
Anyone know the base range and target bonus for rare disease?
What is the company culture like? What is selling a drug for this indication like? I have an offer from another large pharma, but the salary is better here if it is 185k.$185,000 base $60,000 bonus

Just offered 145,000. I was surprised that they pay so much lower than any other companyAnyone know the base range and target bonus for rare disease?
Exactly, I have no idea why they are interviewing rare disease oncology reps who have 15- 20 years in this specialty and appts until 2024, and offer what you would offer a 25 -30 year old. Offer of $140,000. No RSU’s. No stock options, No offer to do a sign on bonus to cover bonus or non vested money left on the table at current job, like other companies do. I walked away as well, and was shocked at how cold they were.Today July 6, 2023. I was told $150000 max and bonus $50000. I have experience in hem/onc and rare. Huge territory. I walked away.

I was also offered 145,000, so I know that is the truth. I am used to making 195-205, so I asked if she could do 150,000, just to bump it up a bit. She pulled the offer within 12 hours and said that I was a flight risk. I am so glad they are so low paying, as I have now learned that people are treated horribly here. Any company that pays 40-50K less than any competitor should be spit on.Just offered 145,000. I was surprised that they pay so much lower than any other company
Same here. The only difference is that I didn’t walk away; they pulled the offer for me even asking about it!!! Wow. So someone with 22 years in oncology and management experience is supposed to join at 140 with no other perks. That’s fine if you are unemployed, since unemployment pays 800 a month, but if you are working, why would anyone take a 60K loss and work for what my son works for? Joke is: they won‘t hire recent college grads with 5 years of business to business sales experience of a hard/cold/sign on the dotted line salesperson. They was a 20-30 year experienced rep, and pay nothing. It’s insulting. I wonder if they are just doing it for the thrill of insulting experienced people.Exactly, I have no idea why they are interviewing rare disease oncology reps who have 15- 20 years in this specialty and appts until 2024, and offer what you would offer a 25 -30 year old.
