Ralph Whitworth's raises stakes

Relational Investors, which is run by activist invsetor Ralph Whitworth, raises its stake in Par Pharmaceutical ([[PRX]] +1.7%) and says the generic drug company should focus on selling itself. "Specifically, (Relational is)

Should this be something to worrry about?

It could be something to worry about since his firm owns more of Par stock than anyother investment firm, mutual bank etc. If you take a look at his track record, he gets to a 5-10% ownership of a company's stock, appoints his people to the boards of the companies and presto they are either sold off, senior leadership is removed or the firm is completely "gutted" and rebuilt.

I believe that Ralph gentleman has been calling on Par to sell itself for sometime but he never really had any serious ownership in Par until now.
