On this Halloween evening, it's an appropriate time to say a fond farewell to Phadia and it's old employees and policies:

We bid adieu to:

WWW....the crock of crap MM came up with to hear himself talk about it at meetings, creep

Trainers who loved going out to dinner buying $100 bottles of wine, and their "consultants"

"Executive committee" who came up with new rules on routine use payouts, volume payouts, discontinued routine use payouts, linked accounts, and whatever else sounded smart

Idiotic regional managers who made their people cheat

District managers who made their people cheat

NJ/NY reps who worked for other labs, changed zip codes, bribed and paid off docs

Private rooms for the regional mgrs. and their peeps

CEs who thought they were running meaningful training sessions at meetings

The pressure to sell your soul for profiles

Best practices....hahaha

It wasn't all bad. It felt like family, performance was rewarded and HR was there to help not dictate.

Seriously? Maybe it felt like "the family" with MZ as the Don. You must have been one of the people with a 1099 position with the norteastern regional labs and your own LLC. Performance only occurred when cheating occurred. HR was only there to turn a blind eye to the schemes and ensure MM, DE and the boys got as little stink on their hands as possible.

No one is saying doing well was impossible partner. I think what they are saying is it's impossible to win ACE 3,4,5 times or more in a row. No other organization has people winning their sales awards this many times in succession. I might believe 3 times in a 6 year run but never 3 or more times in a row. And most of those people you talk about who did well without cheating were in expansion territories. Just facts my friend...

I'm pretty sure that people who sell drugs in cartels say the same thing. You always have a choice to go along or not go along. I left this lions den for lab sales and I can assure you that your assumption that lab sales requires cheating isn't always true. It only requires cheating when you are trying to convince a practitioner to order a test which really isn't needed and provides no real clinical benefit in the family practice setting.

Selling massive panels while TFS management turn a blind eye..
 
























NY indightments are supposed to come out soon. A VERY large multi location group that writes a lot of panels has already pled guilty.

So do some other offices.

I'm sad to see another friend get caught up in this.

The only thing I can think of why they didn't open is they are still gathering evidence on The L
