Quintiles Reps Saved This Company

Let's face it. Quintiles reps are hungrier and work harder than we do. I hate my Quintiles rep because she works a lot harder and grinds the doc's with a hard close. I'd rather just swing by and do some glad handing and get a signature. How are those Quintiles bastards incented. They sure seem like someone lit a fire under their arses.

You are obviously a Quintiles rep, the good ones are few and far between. Majority of them don't have a clue!

Aaaaaaah good old fashion sarcasm, at it's finest too!!!

This is a joke! I am a quintiles rep and even I am embarrassed to be part of this sales force. I was one of the few who actually came from b2b outside sales. Many came from retail and I remember one girl had not graduated yet, she had to leave training early to make graduation. Very few had the 2 years of post graduate outside sales experience.

I remember one girl in training was so confused because the trainer kept talking about sales calls. Two hours in, she finally raised her hand and asked if we could make the sales calls from home. I couldn't believe it, she thought that we actually called the offices from the phone, I almost rolled out of my chair laughing.

These reps are a fucking joke!
No work ethic, no skills, and they are NOT working!
Oh and they get the same bonus as me and I'm doing all the fucking work!

In their defense *yes I'm with Takeda* the more experience the Quintile rep has the better they are, also their maturity level.

I have a good one, so do others in my district BUT there are a handful of Quintile reps that should have NEVER been hired in our group. It's insulting to us, it's insulting to the candidates that SHOULD have been hired.

Takeda hurried this process and it shows.

It's always somebody else's fault at Takeda. Takeda has always sucked (before during after). There has been a lost decade of douche baggery at Takeda, maybe its time you look in the mirror!

What are you talking about this response makes absolutely no sense especially since Takeda reps did NOT have any hiring decisions what's so ever? The bottom line here is management wanted hungry hires with no pharma baggage sadly they got what they paid for, that's all. Broad brush assumptions can be detrimental.

And the above post is why the majority of us will be replaced by contract sales people here at the old Takeda in the near future. We haven't had a successful drug launch in the past 10 years and contrave launched well and the only difference is quintiles reps. Don't think that fact has been lost on management. Our days are numbered and it is our own fault.

Here is ANOTHER example of BROAD BRUSH STROKE ASSumptions. Are parts of this statement true, yes are there parts to this story LEFT OUT? YES.

Go back to the drawing board and come back with a better more logical post instead of hitting yourself on the back till you bruise.
