All recruiters are liars and Quintiles needs warm bodies in the field at all costs so they can bill the host company. What this means is that these recruiters will lie their tails off just so they can fill the contract
 






Unfortunately what the above poster said is true. I recruiter I knew well put me into a contract knowing full well we would fail. The recruiters don't care. They are just as bad as the rest of the screwed up management team.
 






I just drove three hours this past week to an interview for a Quintiles position on a new contract because I was told that the hiring manager with the "host" company would be there, thus eliminating a step in the process.
When I got there, the hiring manager was not there. Apparently he was called away on more important business.
Then I was told the salary would be 5K less than what I was told during the phone screen.
I was not happy. Lost a whole day of work at my current job.
