Questions on Daiichi...

Can someone please tell me about the employer background check Daiichi runs? It seems some companies try to get all information (start/end date, position, are you re-hirable, etc) and some are very simple (only need start/end date and position held). Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

That's pretty funny. Are you practicing for the interview??? "Please answer the question"

Here's the real answer. If you need to know that much in depth.....you have reason to be concerned. No need to worry about whether they know what your last salary was, unless you're lying or thinking DS is going to pay you that much anyway, which they won't. Unless you're not "rehireable" you wouldn't think twice about it.

Either apply for a position and do your best, or apply elsewhere. That's the answer to your question. If you don't even want to put forth the effort to try, but obviously will put forth the effort to determine what EXACTLY the background check entails, you aren't a good hire anyway. For reference -- get over yourself!

Hey thanks dip shit for all your help. When someone asks a question either put in a helpful post or shut your mouth, period. I don't need to hear your dumb ass response on why I should or should not apply here. I am in the final interview phase and don't want anything to sabotage a chance at a position so I am just making sure bkg checks that invade your right to privacy don't cost me a chance!

Don't worry about that idiot. Most DSI reps and home office employees are good people. I'm amazed about the checks these small companies you mentioned. It is scarry to heard these stories. It seems that they are not focused on the important criterias. Good luck.

Thanks for your feedback yes people are not aware that if companies did their own bkg checks (if dsi did their own) they can ask whatever they want. Some companies only give certain info, others will provide whatever info is requested to a certain extent. I worked for one employer that if Sterling asked if I was "rehirable" they may say no. I just want to be sure that won't cost me a job if I am fortunate to get an offer!

Irregardless of the name calling, the point still exists. Just what are you going to do about it if you don't think the background check is what you want it to be? Wake up.....there's a whole lot of things in this industry that aren't what we'd like them to be, and there's little we can do about it. Why are you worried about it? In your own words, answer the question. Stating how much you want this job and blah blah has nothing to do with why you're that concerned about the details of the background check.

Best wishes with your job, but obviously there's more to your story. Much less the fact that you're on cafepharma asking highly intelligent questions.
