1. Is there still a 6 month probation period?

2. Are there roommates at training?

3. company car choices? new or from a used pool of cars?

4. # of vacation days

5. 401K match

Do any of the answers vary by division (primary care, specialty or hospital?)

I know some of the above may not be the most important but if you are choosing between two companies, it may make a difference.

thanks

Your lucky if you can get a new car, There is usually a used one floating around. And the previous post was wrong, you will not even get one day of vacation untill 6 months of work. And the first year is one week! Yes one week

You have a roommate for a few weeks at training?

That's really odd. Doesn't seem like an ideal atmosphere in which to study.

Training is a horrible experience and the roommate issue is only a small part of the problem. It is to get you ready for working at the worst corporate culture/atmosphere in pharma. And
#4 is wrong above. The first 6months ZERO vacation, then only 1 week. Don't take it, trust me.

If you ar new, you already know more than your DM. 99% of them know so little about our products it's almost hilarious. All they know is, sample %, hold DRS accountable???, get me another report, make another list, all ass-wipes

Actually it's not wrong amigo. New vacation policy started last quarter.

Get a medical note from your doctor on why you need a single room. HR can't fight it if its from your physician. Do this AFTER you take the job and don't ask about it during the interview.

BTW, only take the job if you are unemployed or desperate. Forest culture is HORRIBLE!!!

has anyone with experience received starting salary higher than 65,000?

Possibly, but not very likely. Most reps are started somewhere between 50-60, depending on experience. Obviously the IS reps (hospital) make a great deal more than that. The bigger question is why would anyone with experience want to come to Forest? It's horrible here.

Training was tolerable. I went in to NYC for the weekends. But that was a year ago so, not sure if there have been changes with training. Forest isn't as bad as some people on this board say it is. I've made some great bonuses and I'm happy.
