RC is a good guy! He is a real person and not a managment stiff. One of the many treated poorly by the company, after many years of service. Thank you RC. Thank you KH and KH. Thank you JG. Thank you EO. Thank you KW. Thank you MS. Thank you SS and SS. Thank you DG. Thank you SW. Thank you SK. Thank you BH. Thank you MS. THERE WILL BE MORE!

:)

I'll add:

Thanks to RT and BC.

So many great folks with brilliant talent have passed through that place. It's too bad that AIT's best years are behind it. But, at least the good talent learned what to do, and certainly what not to do, from this organization. They may now put those lessons learned to work in bigger, better, and more ethical organizations.

Here's to them!

My prediction...with the coming cuts in medicare and medicaid...the mismanagement of this company...the debt laden ESOP deal...the company will be defunct in one to two years. Mark my words...we offer few advantages versus other labs, and the company feels that its competitive advantage is the prodsuct ofering as opposed to the relationship between the client and rep. such is life.

What is ESOP?

There was much discussion on these boards about what was going to happen at that sales meeting. So just what transpired during the meeting?

Basically, volume has been steadily dropping for past 2 plus years. Eventually will hit zero but AIT will close before zero.
Alot of openings.
Car allowance dros to zero, mileage reimbursement is .56 per mile.
want to hire alot of people.

Why is volume dropping for two years? Better competitors or better products out there? I don't want to climb aboard a sinking ship, but there's a lot to like about the position so I am conflicted.

It's a sinking ship for sure. Do you want some real insight into the company? Ask whoever you're interviewing with about the executive team. Ask about what happened with the last CFO. Ask how many VPs we've been through in the past 3 years. Ask how many directors we've been through. If they don't know the numbers it's because they've lost count.

Then ask, "why is there such high turnover in executive leadership positions at AIT?".

Then sit back and watch them bullshit their way out of that one.

:)

Or ask:

Why is ESOP a joke?
what is managed care coverage like in territory?
Is there opportunity for advancement, pay raises?
Why is a bank running the company?

I did notice that the most recent CFO's picture is no longer on the company's web site under the Executive Leadership section. What's the story behind that?
